Florence: South Doors of the Baptistery

The Florence Baptistery or St. John's Baptistery is very obviously dedicated to Florence's patron saint, John the Baptist, as depicted on the south face.

Florence: Ghilberti's Gates of Paradise

Lorenzo Ghiberti created the golden doors on the north face of the Baptistery of Florence. The real reliefs are found in the Duomo museum, but the replica doors are still really beautiful.
